SUMMARY
To switch between a Toshiba 3100E monitor and a CGA monitor when running Word, choose the CGA or compatible option during setup. However, when switching from the CGA monitor to the Toshiba 3100E monitor, the cursor may disappear. Setting the background color to white in the Options “colors:” command field brings the cursor back.
It is possible to record a macro to automate this task so that switching the background color doesn’t become tedious.
