SUMMARY

Microsoft Word for the Macintosh may scroll very slowly (that is, line by line) when using the vertical scroll bar if the left side of the document window is beyond the edge of the screen.

To achieve continuous scrolling, use one of the following methods:

  • Double-click the title bar (at the top of the window). The document window relocates and expands to full size so that its left edge is within the screen.

    -or-

  • Click the title bar and drag the document window to the right until the left side of the window is at least even with the left edge of the screen.

    -or-

  • Click the zoom box in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
