- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

The following problem correction is included in the Microsoft Word for the Macintosh version 4.0a maintenance release:

Word normally displays menus in Chicago font. Occasionally when accessing desk accessories, or changing applications within MultiFinder, the wrong font is selected and Word’s menus appear in Geneva and the special characters for SHIFT, CTRL, OPTION, and Keypad appear as square boxes.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 4.0. This problem was corrected in Word version 4.0a.
