SUMMARY
Printer driver support for the Star Micronics printers and Microsoft Word for MS-DOS versions 5.0 and 5.5 is available on the Supplemental Printer Kit for Word version 5.5b. You can obtain the Supplemental Printer Kit by calling Microsoft Sales Information Center at (800) 426- 9400. If you call from outside the United States, contact Microsoft International Customer Service at (206) 936-8661.
The printer drivers can be found under the filename DWXST0 in the Software/Data Library by searching for DWXSTO, Q45512, or S12302. DWXST0 was archived using the PKware file-compression utility.
DWXST0.EXE and DW0212.EXE are the files for the Star printer drivers on the Microsoft Download Service (MSDL).
These printer drivers are included on the shipped or supplemental disks for Word version 5.5.
The following Star Micronics printers are supported:
NX-1000 NX-1000 Rainbow NX-2400 XR-1000 XR-1000 with color option XR-1500 XR-1500 with color option XB-2410 XB-2410 with color option XB-2415 XB-2415 with color option
