SUMMARY
When DocuComp reads a document, it preserves all the tab settings that were used in creating that document. Some Text editors, however, determine the size of the tab to use when in the program, but this information is not present in the file.
The size of the tabs must be set in DocuComp the same way they are set in the editor. In most cases, the default tab size is eight spaces.
For additional information, see page 25 of the “DocuComp Automatic Document Comparison Program” manual.
