SUMMARY

DocuComp detects changes in punctuation when comparing two documents. To help make these changes more obvious, the comparison document shows the word that occurred prior to the punctuation change to be part of the change.

The following is an example:

Original Document

This sentence has one change, a comma is changed to a semicolon.

Revised Document

This sentence has one change; a comma is changed to a semicolon.

Composite

This sentence has one change; (“change” has a line through it) a comma is changed to a semicolon.
