SYMPTOMS
Selecting the "SerialPrinter" driver that comes with Microsoft Word Versions 3.00, 3.01, and 3.02 from the Chooser causes a System Bomb ID=01 when you try to run Microsoft QuickBasic Version 1.00 for the Macintosh .
Both the binary and decimal versions of QuickBasic demonstrate this problem.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in Microsoft QuickBasic for the Macintosh Version 1.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here when it becomes available.
Deselecting this driver from the Chooser and using a different printer driver works around this problem.
