SUMMARY

Satori Bulk Mailer is an application that acts as an interface to entering mailing label information and creating a data document.

Satori Bulk Mailer can take a Satori file and create a text file that is in a form that is usable by Word as a data document for a print merge. To create this file, use Satori as normal, and then choose Send To Disk from the File menu. This will create a document that is compatible with a Word print merge data document.

MORE INFORMATION

Satori often puts multiple-line data together into one field with SHIFT+RETURNs (newline characters) at the end of each line. In addition, each field is surrounded by quotation marks. The following is an example of a data document generated by Satori Bulk Mailer:

fullname,address,lastname “Sam Spade”,“Spade and Archer(SHIFT+RETURN) 123 Falcon Lane(SHIFT+RETURN) San Francisco, CA 12345”,“Spade”

Note that this is a single record, with the three fields containing the following:

  1. Sam Spade
  2. Spade and Archer 123 Falcon Lane San Francisco, CA 1235 (all three lines one entry)
  3. Spade
