SUMMARY
Quattro Pro by Borland provides both Lotus PIC and EPS formats for exporting charts. However, the EPS file format created by Quattro Pro does not conform to the Adobe 2.0 EPS specification used for importing into Word versions 5.00 or 5.50.
Word can recognize these files only as PostScript print files, not as true EPS files. Nothing can be modified in these files to enable them to be recognized by Word, unlike previous versions of Quattro.
If you want to import graphics from Quattro Pro, use the PIC format. This is also a vector format and provides similar print quality on all printers, not just PostScript devices.
