SUMMARY
In Word Version 5.00, “PRD file generator aborted” errors are usually caused by creating more font descriptions than the printer driver is designed to accept. Printer drivers can accept up to 64 different font descriptions. It is possible to generate more than 64 descriptions with the Bitstream Fontware package, but doing so causes the program to fail when the PRD file generator is started (near the end of the font creation process).
