SUMMARY

In Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, if the text in a cell of a table is longer than the length of a page, the text will be truncated at the bottom of the page. However, the text will not be truncated at the bottom margin. The table will print to the bottom of the page determined by the printable area of the printer. The text in the cell will also write over any text that is designated to print at the bottom of the document such as a footer, footnote, or page number.
