The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

If a PICT graphic (COMMAND+OPTION+D) is created in Microsoft Word that contains both part of a table and text, the table contents are not included in the graphic. The table text can be made into a graphic by doing the following:

  1. OPTION+double-click anywhere in the table. The table will now be selected.
  2. Press COMMAND+OPTION+D. A PICT graphic has now been created.
  3. Select the point where the graphic will be pasted.
  4. From the Edit menu, choose Paste.

This behavior is a limitation in the program. Microsoft is researching this limitation and will post new information here as it becomes available.
