MS-DOS

Summary:

To create a multiple-line Field display in the Database Form view in Works version 2.00, choose Field Size from the Format menu and input the number of lines for the field beside the word “Height”. As you type within the multiple-line field, text will automatically wrap to the next line. To manually jump to the next line, press SHIFT+ENTER.

Each multiple-line field is limited to 256 characters, and the multiple-line entries possible in the Works 2.00 Form view are actually retained on a single line in List view.

For more information on multiple-line fields, see Page 204 of the “Microsoft Works Reference” version 2.00 manual.

Note: Multiple-line fields are not possible in Works version 1.00 or 1.05. m
