SUMMARY
In Word version 5.0, running the Library Spell command when the text cursor is positioned directly following hidden text may cause the system to hang. This problem happens only if the character following the hidden text is a space and if the Options “show hidden text:” field is set to No.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 5.0. This problem was corrected in Word version 5.5.
