- Microsoft Works for MS-DOS, versions 1.x, 2.0 and 3.0

To query for database records that lie on or between two dates, use a formula in the form of the following example:

For records with dates between 1/1/89 and 2/15/89, enter the following formula in the “Date:” field of the Query screen:

Works 3.0:

=‘1/1/89’#AND#<=‘2/15/89’

Works 1.x and 2.0:

=‘1/1/89’&<=‘2/15/89’

To enter a query, choose Query from the View menu in Works version 2.0 and 3.0 (choose Query Define in Works versions 1.x) and type the formula in the “Date:” field. To see the results of the query, press F10 to return to List view.
