SUMMARY

To import charts from Microsoft Chart into Word Version 5.00, you must print the chart to a file in Chart. This process is accomplished as follows:

  1. In Chart, choose the HP ColorPro as the plotter with the Print Setup command on the Chart screen. If this driver is not available, copy the file COLORPRO.GPD from the Utilities disk into the Chart directory on the hard drive or the program disk if you are running from floppies.
  2. Create the print file with the Print File command.

The file is now in HPGL format and can be directly imported into Word via the Library Link Graphics command.
