SUMMARYWith Excel 2.20, it is possible to plot an x-y scatter chart even if the data is not in a continuous area. An example is as follows: Category or X axis data is in column A, Value or Y axis data is in columns C, E, and G.
The chart should now be correct. If the data is in rows, change step 9 to the following: Choose Values in Rows, Categories in First Row, Replace Existing Categories. Note: The x-values do need to be in a continuous row or column to perform this operation. |
