SUMMARY
Microsoft Project for Windows and Macintosh does not provide a graphical view of cost data. However, since Microsoft Project for Windows is a Windows application, it can easily share its data with other Windows applications.
Project for Windows version 3.0 includes a Graphing module that allows you to attach graphed data to tasks or resources.
To graphically view Project cost data, do the following:
- From the Table menu, choose Define Table. Create a new table or edit the existing Cost table so that the information in which you are interested is displayed (delete ID numbers?).
- Select the cost information required. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
- Activate another Windows application (such as Excel).
- Paste and then graph the cost data in that application.
