Summary:

Use of certain expanded memory simulators cause Microsoft Multiplan to load and recalculate very slowly. The memory manager in Multiplan attempts to use the highest locations first. Under certain expanded memory simulators, this means that the hard disk is used instead of RAM.

LIM SIM is a program that makes extended memory emulate expanded memory. Many expanded memory simulators use disk space to simulate additional RAM for high memory locations. Multiplan uses the highest available memory first; consequently, it runs slower if this memory is disk based.
