PSS ID Number: Q48557 Article last modified on 03-07-1997

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, versions 4.0, 5.0, 5.1

SUMMARY

The Suitcase activate command key (usually COMMAND+U) does not respond in Word. Instead, in Word 5.0 and 5.1, COMMAND+U selects the underline format, and in Word 4.0, COMMAND+U brings up outline view.

In Suitcase II, the activation key stroke is COMMAND+K. The problem still exists with Suitcase II, with Word bringing up the glossary window in response to typing COMMAND+K.

Even if the key command is altered in Suitcase and/or removed from in the Commands dialog box, the Suitcase activation key combination will not work properly.

AutoMac III can be programmed to open Suitcase.
