Summary:
When running two different instances of Microsoft Excel, Paste operates differently between instances than it does between worksheets.
For example, if you copy a range of data from one spreadsheet to another, Paste can only paste values (no formulas, formatting, etc.) when moving between instances of Microsoft Excel, whereas all information is copied when using Paste between different worksheets in the same instance of Microsoft Excel. Also, Paste Special cannot be invoked when copying from one instance to another because only values can be pasted between instances.
Between macro sheets, formulas can be pasted by choosing Paste Special, and selecting either Text, or CSV. The DIF format will try to paste the formula in, but you may see anomolies such as misplaced quotation marks.
