SUMMARY
The M2 mouse emulates several other mice, including the Microsoft Mouse. If the mouse driver MOUSE.SYS (provided with Word versions 5.00 and 5.50) is used with the M2 mouse, Word hangs in text mode when the mouse cursor is moved. This problem does not occur in graphics mode.
Microsoft provides support for the Microsoft Mouse and for the IBM PS/2 Mouse, but does not provide support for the M2 Mouse.
