SUMMARY
It has been reported that when running Microsoft Word version 5.0 or 5.5 with a Paradise VGA Professional on a 386 clone with a 12 MHz bus speed, screen corruption in the command menu occurs. Changing the bus speed (with a hardware switch) to 8.5 MHz eliminates the screen corruption.
Like many graphics cards, the Paradise VGA Professional card is designed and guaranteed to work on the standard IBM PC/XT/AT and IBM PS/2 Models 25 and 30 computers. These machines all have an 8 MHz bus speed, and as such, the Paradise VGA Professional is not guaranteed by Paradise to work correctly at a faster (12 MHz) bus speed.
