MACROCNV Does Not Put Reminder Notice in Converted Macros

SUMMARY

The MACROCNV utility that converts glossaries from Microsoft Word version 4.0 format to Word version 5.0 format provides the option of inserting a reminder message into a macro that is started from the command menu. However, the reminder message is never actually placed into the output macro.

This is a known problem with the MACROCNV utility. Because it will not place this message in your converted macros, it is highly recommended that you review any converted macro prior to running it in Word. This will ensure the quality and accuracy of your macros and prevent the possibility of data loss.
