SUMMARY
Fully installed, Word 5.00 takes up about 3 megabytes (MB) on a hard drive. This includes the program files, dictionary, thesaurus, learn and help files, and all the supplied utilities and sample files. At the minimum, Word can function while taking up about 650K (of course, adequate room should be left for document files, temporary files, etc.).
