Microsoft Works error message:
Cannot change screen mode
This error can be caused by any of the following events:
-The screen mode in the Works Settings dialog box was changed, or the View Chart/Print Preview command was executed, and the screen mode change failed.
-The video card does not support graphics mode.
-There may not be enough memory to load the screen driver when Works.exe is run. (This condition is preceded by the error “Not enough memory to load screen driver”)
Except for the case of video card support, the problem should be corrected by exiting from Works, removing any TSR or memory dependent utilities, and re-executing Works.exe.
