Using Word 4.00 on a Tandy LT1400 from Drive A

SUMMARY
Word version 4.00 will hang when it is run from Drive A on a Tandy LT1400. This problem occurs when Drive A is either the 3.5-inch drive or an external hard drive (when an external hard drive is installed, it becomes Drive A and the 3.5-inch drive becomes Drive C). Word 4.00 will run without any problems on Drive B.
Word version 5.00 does not exhibit this problem and will run on either drive.
