Summary:

When the FACT() function is used to calculate factorials of more than 170 in Microsoft Excel, the #NUM! error message is displayed.

Values greater than FACT(170) are higher than the greatest number that the Macintosh can calculate. The #NUM! error is returned to indicate that the number produced is too large to be calculated on the Macintosh.
