The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 2.0 and 3.0

SYMPTOMS

When you print a Microsoft Works Database report in Works version 2.0 or 3.0, fields that do not fit in the page margin markers on the ruler do not print.

WORKAROUND

To print all the fields from the report mode, create separate reports that contain separate groups of the database fields. Each report can be printed in sequence for all records.

For example, to print a database report that contains 50 fields:

  1. Arrange the first group of fields so that they fit to the left of the right-indent marker.
  2. Create a new report with the next group of fields that fit to the left of the right-indent marker.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all the fields have been included in your report.

MORE INFORMATION

NOTE: In Microsoft Works 4.0, all fields specified will print.

The process to create a report in version 4.0 has changed. For more information, see Chapter 5, “Guide to the Database and Reporting” in the version 4.0 “Microsoft Works User’s Guide.”
