INF: Selectively Disabling Logging

ID: Q46476

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft SQL Server for OS/2, version 4.2

There is no way to turn off logging for just one user, table, or database, except to use BCP, which is only possible on tables that do not have indexes (and are not in master).

Logging is disabled for a database if the "read-only" dboption is set. Additional query words: Dumping and loading
