SUMMARY
Word Version 5.00’s SETUP utility automatically creates a video driver that controls snow on the screen when the IBM CGA is selected as the video card option. When the CGA-compatible video card option is selected, the video driver that is created does not control snow.
If you have a CGA-compatible video card and are experiencing snow on the screen when running Word, rerun the SETUP utility and select the IBM CGA as your video card option.
