Summary:

When using Mac Daisy Link 1.1.3MS and a Brother HR Series printer with Word version 4.00, it is not possible to have proportional spacing with full justification. If a proportional font is used with justified alignment, the right margin will appear jagged.

Full justification can be achieved by using a monospaced font such as Courier or Monaco and applying justified alignment.

Proportional spacing can be obtained by selecting the Typewriter setting instead of the Brother HR Series printer. After selecting this option from the Page Setup dialog box, make sure the document is in either the “Langley 6” font with a 10-point font size or a monospaced font, such as Courier or Monaco, with a 9-point font size.
