Summary:
Word versions 3.0x or 4.00 cannot directly read documents from FullWrite Professional by Ashton-Tate.
To open a formatted FullWrite document in Word, it must first be saved in MacWrite format. To do this, choose Save As from FullWrite’s File menu and choose the option to save the document as “MacWrite V.4.5”.
The document can then be opened from within Word by choosing Open from the File menu. The document will automatically be converted from MacWrite format to Word format.
