Summary:
There are three formats available for date fields in a Microsoft File data file: long, medium, and short. These formats are shown in the following example:
Format Example
------ -------
Long January 1, 1989
Medium Jan 1, 1989
Short 1/1/89
To change the format of a date field, do the following:
- From the Form menu, choose Show Form.
- Select the date field.
- From the Form menu, choose Format Date Field.
- Select Long, Medium, or Short.
- Click OK.
