ALT+N Doesn’t Work in the Standard Calendar

PSS ID Number: Q44664 Article last modified on 10-04-1994

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project for Windows, versions 1.0, 3.0

The Microsoft Project for Windows accelerator key ALT+N (activate Name field) does not appear to work in the Standard Calendar (Options, Base Calendar). Actually, the Standard Calendar is a special calendar that cannot be deleted or renamed. Therefore, the Name text box, when the Standard Calendar is in edit mode, is entered in static text (unchangeable). The “N” is still underlined, but there is no way to select this field. If this were a new calendar or a calendar that was not the Standard Calendar, then the Name field (and accelerator key) would work as expected.
