Spaces are significant when using such tools as the Edit Find feature. These spaces are treated as another character and are not ignored. Therefore, if you have a task named “abcde” (without the quotation marks) and you enter the find text “abcde”, Microsoft Project for Windows and Macintosh will not be able to find the task.
