The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Project for Windows, versions 1.0, 1.1, 3.0, 3.0a, 4.0 - Microsoft Project for the Macintosh, version 1.1, 3.0, 4.0

In Microsoft Project, when you view your project in the Resource Graph view, the task duration is equal to the minor timescale. Therefore, if a resource is allocated for a single day, but the minor timescale of the graph (Format Timescale in the Resource Graph view) is set to quarters, then the resource displays as allocated for the entire quarter on the Resource Graph.
