Microsoft Project for Windows and Macintosh allows entry of two tasks that share the same name. This is not a design problem, but a feature. This feature allows for various situations such as summary tasks (e.g. pour concrete) to have the same name as tasks that fall beneath the summary tasks (e.g. pour concrete). In these cases, references made to either one of the tasks that share a name should be made using ID numbers.
