Word: END Key Goes to End of Table, Not Window, in Page View

PSS ID Number: Q43940 Article last modified on 03-07-1997

The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 4.0

SUMMARY

In Page View on a page that contains a table created with the Insert Table command, pressing the END key (Move To Bottom Of Window command) positions the insertion point at the end of the table, regardless of where the insertion point was originally positioned or where the table is positioned. In Galley View, the END key correctly takes you to the bottom of the window.

The END key is a key on the Extended Keyboard and is not found on the standard Macintosh Plus keyboard.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
