The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Works for the Macintosh versions, 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0

SUMMARY

In the Microsoft Works Spreadsheet module, the comparison value in an IF statement cannot be a text string.

For example, if you type “yes” in cell B1, and type the formula =IF(B1=“yes”,1,0) in cell B2, Works will generate an error message stating that the formula is flawed.
