Lock Favorite Setting Files

SUMMARY
To prevent a preferred Settings file in Word version 4.00 from accidentally being changed, do the following:
- Select the file while in the Macintosh Finder.
- Choose Get Info from the File menu.
- Check the Locked box in the upper-right corner.
The file can then be used to configure Word 4.00. Changes to the configuration can be made during the Word session without affecting this file. However, the changes will not be saved when you quit the program. (Word will display an alert stating that the Settings file could not be saved).
