SUMMARY
There are two layers within a Microsoft Works Word Processor document: the Word Processor document itself and a draw layer that resides independently from the rest of the document.
If text is created in the draw layer, the draw layer must be active before this text can be edited. Similarly, text created without activating the draw layer can be edited only when the draw layer is inactive.
To activate the draw layer, choose Draw On from the Edit menu.
