Summary:

This information supplements the “Line Height” section in the GDT Softworks manual for the Mac Daisy Link drivers.

In Word versions 3.00, 3.01, 3.02, and 4.00 with the Mac Daisy Link typewriter driver, follow these steps to achieve 10 characters per inch (cpi) line height:

  1. Select the entire document.
  2. Choose Character from the Format menu. Select the Monaco font and 12-point font size. Click OK.
  3. Hold down the SHIFT key and choose Page Setup from the File menu. Type “15” in the Line Height (custom) box. Click OK.
  4. Select 10 cpi spacing on your typewriter or printer.

To achieve 10 cpi line height with any other daisywheel drivers an Mac Daisy Link, follow these steps:

  1. Select the entire document.
  2. Choose Character from the Format menu. Select a Courier, Dover, or Monaco font and 12-point font size.
  3. Select 10 cpi spacing on your printer.
