SUMMARY

To eliminate the problem of documents double spacing when they are formatted for single spacing on the Tandy DMP 130, it has been suggested that you do the following to correct the problem:

  1. Set the dip switches so that CR=CR (instead of CR=NL) and LF=LF (instead of LF=NL).
  2. Put the printer into IBM mode instead of Tandy mode.

With these settings, the printer no longer automatically prints with double spacing, and the Tandy DOS commands Mode Lfon and Mode Lfoff are no longer necessary.

This method is useful in cases when Tandy DOS is not being used.
