SUMMARY

Page 121 of the version 1.x “Microsoft Works Reference” manual incorrectly states that choosing the Draft Quality choice in the Print command box of the Print menu “Prints the file without character formats.” The documentation is in error; choosing this option does not strip character formats when printing.

All character formats will print out whether or not this option is chosen. Choosing the Draft Quality option actually controls whether or not microspace justification will be carried out by your printer when you print the document. If the Draft Quality option is chosen, the use of microspace justification will be disabled. If this option is not chosen, your printer will use microspace justification if it is available on your printer.
