Word for Windows Message: “Replace existing (name)?”
You chose Save As from the File menu and typed the name of an existing document. Word wants to know if you want to replace the existing document with the active document.
If you want to replace the existing document, choose Yes. If you do not want to replace the existing document, choose No and type a different document name.
