Summary:
When an apostrophe is included within a field name in Database Form view, the apostrophe is converted to a double quotation mark. For example, enter the field name “Int’l” in Form view (the Design screen in Works 1.x). When you enter the field name and/or save the form, the field name is changed to “Int”l".
A possible workaround would be to substitute the accent character. For example “Int”l" would become “Int`l”.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works versions 1.x and 2.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
