SUMMARY
AppleShare, a file server application available from Apple Computer, allows a Macintosh to act as a dedicated file server for workstations (including Macintoshes and PCs) connected to an AppleTalk network. Each hard disk attached to the server is called a file server volume, and appears on the workstation’s desktop as an icon.
Microsoft has not tested this network-type environment with Word and does not guarantee its performance in this environment.
