SUMMARY

To print specific pages from different sections (Word 5.50) or divisions (Word 5.00 and earlier), do the following:

Word Version 5.50

To print specific pages of a Word document, select File Print Pages (Alt, F, P Alt+S) and enter the section and page number(s).

The following instructions describe four cases:

  1. To print a page in a section, enter the page number first. For example, 6s2 specifies page 6 in section 2.
  2. To print a group of pages and division numbers, separate the page/sections with a hyphen (for example, 6s2-25s3).
  3. To print individual pages, place a comma between each page specified (for example, 6s1, 6s4).
  4. To print a group of page numbers, put a colon or hyphen between the first and last page numbers of the group (for example, 8:12S2). A combination of groups or individual pages is separated by commas (for example, 8:12S2, 17-20S3).

Word Version 5.00 and Earlier

To print specific pages of a Word document, choose Pages in the Print Options “range:” field. In the “page numbers:” field, enter the division and page number(s).

The following instructions describe four cases:

  1. To print a page in a division, enter the page number first. For example, 6d2 specifies page 6 in division 2.
  2. To print a group of pages and division numbers, separate the page/divisions with a hyphen (for example, 6d2-25d3).
  3. To print individual pages, place a comma between each page specified (for example, 6D1, 6D4).
  4. To print a group of page numbers, put a colon or hyphen between the first and last page numbers of the group (for example, 8:12D2). A combination of groups or individual pages is separated by commas (for example, 8:12D2, 17-20D3).
