File: Adding a Picture as a Label
Last reviewed: October 27, 1994
Article ID: Q41071
Summary:
A picture can be added to a form in Microsoft File as a label. The picture label then prints with each record in the data file.
To create a picture label, do the following:
- Copy the desired picture to the Clipboard (from within a graphics application or from the Scrapbook).
- Open the data file and choose Show Form from the Form menu.
- In the form, click the cursor where the graphic is to be placed.
- From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
Resize the label by dragging the sides accordingly. By default, the graphic has a border around it. To change this, select the graphic and choose Format Date Field from the Form menu. Deselect the Border option and click OK. (Note: In this dialog box, you can also resize or crop the graphic when resizing the field box. By default, resizing the field box also resizes the graphic.)
For more information about adding a picture label to the form, see pages 116-117 in the "Microsoft File for the Apple Macintosh" manual.
